Passage: Matthew 7:1–6
Date: 11 February 2018
Speaker: Ben Johnston
Summary: Judgment can be a complex issue, especially in our modern world where we often hear “who are you to judge?” But as we explore Matthew 7, we discover that Jesus isn’t advocating for a blanket ban on all judgment. Instead, He calls us to recognise our own flaws before addressing others’, reminding us that true discernment comes from a place of humility and grace. Understanding our own sinfulness leads to a more compassionate approach toward those around us.
